The Guys from C.V.I. acted like separate DJs since 2004 at different night-clubs. Having proved in Vyborg as excellent DJs, they understood that they not only want to introduce other musicians’ tunes, but themselves want to do something new with the drum’n’bass music.

Having united, they began to write music and with the first track have drawn attention of DJ Gvozd.

This track was introduced in the "Russian hour" section of the "Pirate Station" show, on radio "Record".

C.V.I was born on the 2nd of November 2006. Ñ.V.I.- the first Vyborg drum’n’bass project. You can hear them today very often playing on radio "Record", the "Pirate station". The project consists of three dj's: Cerber, Vincent and Iron. They’ve been trying to make music on different directions of drum’n’bass. From SoulFull and StreamLine to Technoid and Neurofunk.

During their performances you can mostly hear technoid and neurofunk. On their releases, you can hear compositions in absolute different polarities of the drum’n’bass music sub-styles. Their tracks have received positive responses from DJs and musicians such as Nocturnal (UK), Drumsound (UK), Cooh (Bulgaria), The Sect (UK), Future Ingineers (UK), Zardonic (Venezuela), Identity (US), Ill Skillz (Austria), Proket (RU), T.Z.A (US)., Futurebound (UK), Catacomb (CAN) and Roni Size (UK).

C.V.I. - Visitors of "Underground"(ex "Tunnel")(spb), "Troika" (ex «0») (Spb), "Flat" (Spb), "Xenon" (Orel ), "Neo" (Spb), "Farvater" (Vbg), "Zarya" (SV). They are taking part in the largest drum’n’bass action in Vyborg and Leningrad region, like x-favater 2004, 2006, 2007 and, well known, All-Russia drum’n’bass convention. Their tunes are already signed on foreign and Russian labels, such as "Metafiziq rec", "Mindocracy rec", "L.A.B. rec", "Wayside rec." and "HMSU rec"..

At the moment, they are cooperating with musicians such as Zardonic, Mumblz, SFS, iDOLEAST, Kriotek, KLEF, Levo, BrainfuZz, Stereotype, Mc Temper and Silent Extent.

Metafiziq recordings is a new label established in East Europe – Bulgaria, by Valeri Sholevski aka. OGONEK (http://www.myspace.com/ogonek ) and Danail Iliev aka. Mad Twist (http://www.myspace.com/madtwistdnb ). OGONEK is a part of Hard Music and Sounds United (HMSU) (http://www.hmsu.org) - the biggest drum and bass formation in Bulgaria . The purpose of METAFIZIQ recordings is to provide fresh air to the music made by young talents who are in the shadow, deserves to be turned into vinyl relief. We trust in the vinyl because if one day the electricity in all over the world stops, we can continue to listen vinyls on the old horn gramophones.

METAFIZIQ recordings has a strong concept, expressed through metaphysical philosophy - one of the reason that we are making our release artworks unique – namely our artwork cover is created in a dark laboratory with real chemicals, using the method of photograms. (The photogram represents a unique art form requiring only the action of light on a photosensitive substrate without using a camera. The imagery is created using traditional silver-gelatin black and white materials. This method of imaging is perhaps most prominently attributed to Man Ray and his exploration of rayographs. Others who have experimented with the technique include Laszlo Moholy-Nagy, Christian Schad, Imogen Cunningham and even Pablo Picasso. Actually some of the first known photographic images made were photograms.)
